“If you saw our last post you noted our return to building Handmade Farm Tables” (i.e. the Real Reclaimed Wood Farm Table). Well… one of the Interior Decorators at Encore Resales decided to take our farm table outside the store for a magazine photo shoot (it is a table that can be used outside). Just Fine Tables missed the photo shoot, but was able to see part of the result as the Redecorated Farm Table was brought back inside the Encore store and replaced in our display booth with some of the decorations. We are not sure when the table will be shown in a local magazine, but we do know this will not be the first time that Just Fine Tables’ Farm Tables have made publication attention.
The last publication was made by our specialty table leg supplier, Osborne Wood Products Inc. Just Fine Tables was just starting out and we had built a fairly large farm table for a nearby Birmingham, AL family. They had wanted turned farm table legs on their custom table and we built it for them. They liked it and asked that we add a matching bench to the table, if possible. We said we would do our best and contacted Osborne Wood again and found some matching legs. This time, the legs were ‘coffee table’ legs that matched the table legs. (Note: We cut the coffee table legs down by an inch so that when the matching bench was built, it would be the correct seating height for dining.)
