Working to clean up our shop, Just Fine Tables found enough remnant lumber pieces from previous furniture projects to build a useable sized Hickory Top Wine Bar. The Wine Bar – Small Buffet Table top was built with two pieces of hardwood hickory that was stained and treated to be both distinctive and water resistant. The base was stained, painted, and distressed cottage white with two shelves. One shelf was built from old pieces of pine table lumber and the other constructed from an old wine rack. The legs were from some unused porch railing pieces.

The hardwood hickory top is being highlighted in this posting as the “original uncut pieces of wood” were used to build a farmhouse trestle table about 1.5 years ago (yes, December 2013). We had to keep the remnant pieces as we loved their beauty. And to show their true beauty, please see the 2013 farmhouse trestle table below.
