On a recent trip to Tennessee and Texas, Just Fine Tables found a couple of beautiful table and chair sets that we thought would be great for our friends in Alabama. One was a Solid Oak Pedestal Table with two (2) leaves and six (6) chairs and the other was an “Ethan Allen” Vintage Table with Pull-out Leaves and four (4) Matching Maple Chairs ( 2 Arm, 2 Side). Because of personal issues, Just Fine Tables was only able to bring one of the dining sets back to Alabama on the trip. As you can see from the title of this post, the “Ethan Allen” Vintage set made the return first.

Please know that the “Ethan Allen” table and chairs set was in great condition when we found it, especially considering its vintage age. The set could have easily gone directly into someone’s home as a valuable and useable asset. However, updating / refinishing the set to be more acceptable with today’s furniture tastes seemed to be a good idea.
The “ETHAN ALLEN” VINTAGE FARM STYLE TABLE and CHAIR SET was recently sold at ENCORE RESALES in BOOTH 47 / 469.
Since refinishing furniture is a step by step process with times of inactivity, one can use those breaks for other work. So, while refinishing the table and chairs, we were successful in updating / refinishing another piece of furniture we had available.
In this case, the piece happened to be a “BASSETT” CHEST on CHEST.
